Full-time positions in computational neurosciences of vision are available immediately at Brain Corporation, San Diego, CA at the level of scientist (postdoc) or senior scientist (assistant professor) to develop a biologically detailed spiking model of the mammalian visual system.

Both, biologists and theoreticians are encouraged to apply.

REQUIREMENTS: (1) A biologist must have publications on in vivo recordings of unit activity in the visual system. A theoretician must have publications on spiking networks and spike-timing dynamics. In addition, successful candidates should have (2) knowledge of the visual system beyond standard textbooks, and (3) excellent programming skills in MATLAB, PYTHON, or C/C++.
