A postdoctoral position is available for up to 3 years for a cognitive neuroscientist interested in the functional and neural basis of attention, control, and learning. The successful candidate will work on a BBSRC-funded project investigating the role of action outcomes in cognitive control, using fMRI, EEG, and behavioural methods. The planned research will forge new links between three major research fields—on cognitive control, instrumental action, and reinforcement learning—that together promise to yield substantial insight into the nature of human voluntary action.
